A Timing Belt and a Serpentine Belt are Not the Same Thing.
Some vehicles also have exterior belts and serpentine belts. Sometimes these are confused and think replacing the outside belts is the same as the timing belt. The timing belt is inside the motor. It's crucial to clarify the confusion around timing belts and their replacement. Not all engines have timing belts, and those that do require timely replacement based on mileage or time intervals. Timing belts deteriorate like any rubber component, so it's important to check your owner's manual or consult a trusted professional to determine if your engine has one. It's also important to differentiate between exterior belts like serpentine belts and the internal timing belt. If your vehicle is over seven years old, checking and replacing the timing belt if necessary can potentially save your engine.
